Bruce Natural Choice Strip

In 2008, my wife and I installed this beautiful cherry flooring in the downstairs of our home. We had originally looked at the engineered version, but the price difference of just a few cents more was well worth it. When it comes time to sell we can tout that we have real solid wood floors that will last a lifetime.

Even with two young kids and a small dog, they still look as beautiful today as the day we glued them down.

Here’s a quick tip for you too. If you’re installing using glue on a concrete slab like we did, make sure you have several rolls of 1.5" blue painter’s tape handy. All wood has a tendency to warp slightly and this will make it easy to minimize the gaps between boards and keep moving quickly.
